Big Tigger is facing felony charges after an arrest in Sandy Springs, Georgia, last weekend.
The radio personality, born Darian Morgan, was arrested by Sandy Springs police and booked into the Fulton County Jail on June 20.
The media personality, 53, was charged with aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children, records show.
The listed incident date is June 9. He was released from jail the same day on a $10,000 surety bond, with $9,000 tied to the aggravated battery charge and $1,000 tied to the cruelty to children charge.
Morgan’s Big Tigger Morning Show airs weekdays on V-103 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. but hip-hop fans best remember him as a former host of BET’s Rap City and is also part of Atlanta Hawks game nights as an announcer and in-game host.
On June 12, Morgan spoke on his morning show about “speculation regarding my public life.”
“I want to say categorically these allegations and accusations that have been circulating about me are false, untrue, not happening, didn’t happen,” he said.
Morgan has not confirmed the arrest.
