Teslim Ajimobi, the younger brother of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is dead.
Ajimobi reportedly died in London on Thursday, 25th of June 2026.
The death of the former Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area in 2017 came exactly six years after the demise of Abiola Ajimobi.

While confirming the death of the younger Ajimobi, former Senate Leader, Teslim Folarin, mourned demise of the politician who is also a cousin to him.
Folarin described him as a supportive brother, pillar of strength, and a man who gave without being asked.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Alhaji Teslim Ajimobi was more than a cousin. He was a supportive brother, a pillar of strength, and a man who gave without being asked.
“His counsel, loyalty, and selflessness will be deeply missed.
“May Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give the entire Ajimobi family the strength to bear this painful loss,” the former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State said.
Outside the political engagement, late Ajimobi maintained corporate and business interests outside Nigeria.
