Media personality Adeola Fayehun has sparked debate with comments questioning Nigeria’s security strategy, pointing to what she described as a contrast between the government’s ability to carry out an overseas arrest and its ongoing struggles with domestic violence and insecurity.

Media personality Adeola Fayehun has raised questions about the Nigerian government’s selective display of capability in tackling security threats.

She wondered how the government was able to reach into Kenya to apprehend and repatriate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who has since remained in detention, yet appears unable to confront and neutralise the b@ndits and terror!sts responsible for the daily loss of lives within Nigeria’s own borders.
