Lola Omotayo Okoye, the wife of singer Peter Okoye, has reacted to her former sister-in-law, Anita Okoye’s Mother’s Day surprise.
On Monday, Anita revealed in an Instagram post that her kids had surprised her with gifts on Mother’s Day. She said she was humbled and felt incredibly special. Anita said being their mom is the greatest privilege of her life, and she doesn’t take their love for granted, appreciating them for making her feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated.
Reacting to her post, Lola testified that Anita is an amazing mother and deserves everything.
“You deserve all the love cause you are truly an amazing mother”.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Lola shower love on Anita Okoye, as she remains loyal to Anita despite her split from the singer.
On Mother’s Day in March, Anita expressed pride in celebrating the sacred privilege of motherhood. She said that every time her kids call her Mama, it stretches her heart, deepens her strength, and reminds her what unconditional love is.
Reacting to it, Peter gushed over them, calling them his family.

On Thanksgiving Day last year, Anita spent it with her kids, friends and Lola Omotayo Okoye. Sharing a video from their celebration, she expressed gratitude for her babies, her village, the soft moments, and the blessing of resilience.
When the news of Paul’s remarriage made rounds online, Lola, shared a video of her living her best life with a caption stating that she was just living and minding her business.
Not done, Lola had thrown shade as she hailed Anita, calling her the one and only.
Last year, when, Anita bagged a Master’s Degree in Arts and Design from Savannah College, Lola had showered praises on her. She expressed her pride in her, and affirmed her love for Anita, calling her a complete package.
Also, last year, Peter had dropped birthday wishes for Anita’s twins as he expressed love for them.
To celebrate Anita’s birthday in November, Lola expressed how proud she was of her and praised her parenting skills.
Reacting to it, Anita expressed how grateful she was to have her as a big sister. She appreciated her for her unwavering support, for always championing her cause, and for her heartfelt prayers. She described Lola as the embodiment of sisterhood and rained prayers on her.
Recall that Anita filed for divorce in 2022 on the grounds of cheating, separation, being an absentee father, fraud, and difficult experiences. A year after she filed for divorce, an Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama granted Anita and Paul Okoye a divorce, with a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s mansions.
Paul had swiftly moved on with model, Ivy Ifeoma who he got married to in May of 2024, and welcomed a child with.
