Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star, Tega Dominic, has dismissed the allegation of having a sexual affair with ace media personality, Frank Edoho.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that the controversy began after Edoho’s estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, shared a lengthy post on social media, in which she made several allegations against Frank following the collapse of their marriage.
In the post, she accused the television host of being involved with multiple women during their relationship and mentioned Tega among them.
Sandra claimed Frank often stayed away from home for long periods while allegedly spending time with other women.
However, in a statement issued through her management, Tega said she absolutely has no sexual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho and challenged Sandra to release evidence of the accusation.
The reality TV star also clarified that she and Frank are both separated, and if she had wanted a relationship with him, she would not have sneaked around or hidden it.
Tega emphasised that the only time she hung with Frank Edoho was in the presence of her manager.
The statement reads, “I honestly did not want to speak on this because I have spent a long time trying to stay away from unnecessary drama, but at this point, my silence is no longer helping. I have absolutely no sexual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho. Frank is a great guy and a very good friend of mine. We started talking around mid-last year, and after he sent birthday wishes to my mum. Like many people in the industry, we already knew each other through social media and mutual familiarity. He is also my Kingsman. There was never anything inappropriate between us.
“The first and only time I hung out with Frank was with my manager, Paul Ukono, present. I have absolutely nothing to hide. And honestly, If I ever hand anything to do with Frank romantically, I will say it with my full chest. He was separated at the time, and I am also separated. If you know me, you known I have never been the type to hide or sneak around. I say things exactly as they are.
“I have worked too hard to build myself and my brand step by step to allow false accusations stain my name like this. I owe it to my family, friends, supporters and the reputable brands I work with to protect my reputation. I believe it is important to provide evidence, and I will not let this slide. My name cannot be dragged carelessly into false narratives.
“This has honestly been very upsetting for me, but moving forward, my lawyers will handle the matter appropraitly. There will be consequences. This will be the only time I will address this matter.”
