Adesua Etomi celebrates herself on Mothers Day

Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi is celebrating herself and other mothers on Mother’s Day.

Sharing photos of herself and her sons, she expressed how blessed she is to be a caretaker of God’s little ones. Etomi noted how it isn’t easy, but it is worth it.

“HAPPY MOTHERS DAYYYYY to me and all the wonderful mothers around the world

What a blessing it is to be a caretaker of God’s little ones. His faves. Thank you, Jesus.

If you know a mum, give her a hug and say a prayer for her today on Mother’s Day. It is not easy, but my goodness, is it worth it.

Susu of the most high”.

On Mother’s Day, in 2025, Adesua had reminisced on her painful journey to motherhood. She recalled the emergency C-section, sleepless nights, birth constipation, endless bleeding, cracked nipples and more, which she endured. Adesua stated that despite the pains and challenges, she will do it again for her sons and will do anything for them.

While reacting to the story of a woman who killed herself after battling hyperemesis gravidarum, Etomi expressed her frustration over people not understanding how serious the condition is. She appreciated her husband, doctors, family, and friends for rallying around her.

Two years back, while celebrating her birthday, she recalled the trials she faced. She recounted how she battled hyperemesis, was admitted to the hospital, her husband underwent cancerous tumor surgery, and she had an emergency C-section.

Last year, Adesua had shared her testimony after escaping death. In a series of Instagram posts, she revealed that she could have lost her life, but God saved her. She disclosed that she went through a horrific incident that landed her in unplanned surgery in the UK, but God saved her.

Recall that in 2024, Banky announced that he and Adesua had welcomed their second child, a baby boy. He made this known as he shared a video of him cooking and taking care of his family. Banky stated that marriage is 100-100 and not 50-50.

Adesua Etomi and Banky got married in 2017. The couple revealed that they lost twins to a miscarriage and in 2021, they welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
