Iran delivered a new proposal for peace talks with the U.S. via mediator Pakistan, state media reported on Friday (May 1, 2026), with negotiations between the two sides frozen despite a weeks-long ceasefire.
The text of the proposal was handed to Islamabad on Thursday evening (April 30, 2026), the IRNA news agency reported.
