The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Sam Amadi, has asserted presidential aspirants Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi can only win the 2027 election thorough a joint ticket.
Amadi stated this via a post on his 𝕏 handle on Friday while
According to him, Nigeria is a republic where there are no first-class and second-class citizens.
He argued that if a man won over 6 million votes, excluding those not counted, he deserves the respect of being treated as an integer, not a fraction.
“You cannot continue to insist on bossing everyone else, even those better than you.
“For those who care to know, if O cannot win, A cannot win. If O and A need to be together to win, then it should be OA this time, not AO,” he said.
Meanwhile, Amadi, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu is afraid of former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, being on the ballot in 2027.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Amadi, in a post via his 𝕏 handle on Tuesday, advised Peter Obi, who is seeking to get the African Democratic Congress (ADC) 2027 presidential ticket, to seek an alternative if he must be on the ballot in 2027.
Amadi also alleged that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government may use the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the court to proscribe ADC.
Amadi, a staunch supporter of Peter Obi, urged the former presidential candidate to put his plan B in motion, adding that Tinubu cannot campaign rigorously and the country is in a terrible state.
He wrote, “While you guys are fighting who has a right to win primaries and who has the duty to be VP, the ruling government through INEC and court may proscribe ADC.
“A few days before INEC came with its sledge hammer a lady who knows the workings of INEC told me that the government would try and use the court to proscribe ADC.
“If there is a Plan B put it motion now if you want to be on the ballot. Tinubu is mortally afraid for Peter Obi on the ballot. He cannot campaign rigorously. And the country is in a terrible state.”
