Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has reacted to her husband’s sweet AMVCA speech.
Kemi Filani reported that at the 12th edition of the AMVCA on Saturday, Lateef’s movie Lisabi won Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) and Best Makeup. While receiving his award, he dedicated it to his wife, who has given him three children.
Taking to her Instagram page, Bimpe said she is still having goosebumps from the speech. She appreciated him for the honour and affirmed her love for him.
The mother of three said she has been speechless over the countless blessings from the celebration of their kings, the outpouring of love, and the big win.
“We won again! So speechless. I owe a lot to you all for the show of love; from the overwhelming celebration of our kings, to the outpouring of love to me personally, and then the big win of last night, I’m so grateful.
LISABI was a mega project that took so much from me personally. It was my first time doing something on that scale with my man, and this award for the sequel to Lisabi only goes to show that, truly, fortune favours the brave.
Special thanks to everyone who worked on the project with us. My heartfelt gratitude to BABA DUDU @niyi_akinmolayan, the cast and crew. This is a win for all of us.

In March, Bimpe had bagged 3 awards at the just concluded Emperor Awards. Bimpe wrote a heartfelt note, expressing her honour at being recognised for her hard work, and promised not to stop working and creating beautiful movies.
In a a heartfelt note, the black beauty had appreciated her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, and Ekiti State Governor as she embarked on a new journey. She expressed how overwhelmed she was when she received the call to shoot her forthcoming project, and appreciated the Governor for believing in her. She also appreciated her husband for giving her the wings, sharing the vision with her and standing with her every step of the way.
When her and her husband’s movie Lisabi bagged 10 nominations at 2025 AMVCA, the Yourba actress shared a video on her Twitter page of her, her husband and their crew members in worship. The couple appreciated their Maker for the huge feat, and appreciated AMVCA organisers for the nominations.
When Lisabi was ranked among top ten most search movies in 2024, she expressed excitement, noting that data doesn’t lie and expressed her delight that when people talk about filmmaking in 2024, her film was mentioned.
Following the success of Lisabi, the actor and his wife had released Lisabi sequel which ranked on the list of 2024’s most searched Nigerian films.
She had also expressed pride in him, after he reflected on his journey to filmmaking and growth in the industry. Mo Bimpe questioned how she could scream for the whole world to hear her, as expressed her pride in him and his team at the masterpiece they created.
