Nollywood actor and former Big Brother Africa Season 9 star, Akintayo Faniran, has spoken about his romantic scenes in movies.
In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, he was asked about his romantic scene with Iyabo Ojo in Labake Olododo, questioning if the chemistry was too real.
Tayo responded, noting that Iyabo is a beautiful woman and that no man would dispute it. However, their relationship was respectful, and they were doing their jobs.
He recalled working with Shaffy Bello on an intimate scene, but wasn’t professional with her because he was thinking of her children.
“Iyabo Ojo is a beautiful woman. There’s hardly any man who won’t attest to the fact that she’s pleasing to the eye. The relationship between us is respectful. We’re just doing our jobs. I remember when I worked with Shaffy Bello on tinsel, then her children just got back from the UK. I was supposed to be really intimate with her, but I wasn’t as professional as I am now. I was not comfortable because her grown children were there watching”.
Recall that last year, Iyabo made her first cinema debut with the premiere.of her movie, Labake Olododo, at Imax Cinemas Lekki, which had in attendance many celebrities.
Labake Olododo is a Nollywood Indigenous story that explores deep themes of truth, faith, societal norms, and personal redemption.

The love life of Tayo isn’t quite known, but in 2017, he welcomed another child, a son, with his baby mama.
Recall that Tayo, in 2015, said he planned to tie the knot with his baby mama soon after they welcomed their first child, a baby Boy, sometime in October 2014 while he was in the BBA house.
In an Instagram post, Tayo hinted at the major reasons he chose to uphold his tríbe even while based abroad. The reality star questioned why he would change who he is when his originality had always opened doors for him. He said he stands out wherever he goes and gets people interested in knowing where he is from.
After his BBAfrica win, the talented actor spoke about being threatened by the show’s organisers. He claimed that three Multichoice officers called him aside at his homecoming party, telling him not to fight them because he wouldn’t win, since they control everything. They said that if the actor goes against them, it will affect his career, which made me keep quiet.
The reality star later revealed that he fell into a psychological coma because of it. He said the pain hadn’t left him, and he didn’t feel good about the treatment he got at that time. According to him, he spoke not because he wanted to fight but because he wanted to feed himself.
In a surprising twist, the BBA runner-up said he might likely heed God’s call by starting a church. Faniran said he will be the most tattooed yet spirit-filled African man of God, and his fellowship will be based on God’s love. He said he wouldn’t belong to any Christian denominations or groups, as his fellowship will be open to Christians, Muslims, and traditional
worshippers with a pure heart.
