Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has been subjected to mockery following a viral video of him and the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that veteran actress Sola Sobowale’s daughter had tied the knot, with lots of celebrities and public figures, including the Governor, in attendance.
In the viral clip, the Governor was seen returning to his seat after exchanging pleasantries with gospel singer Yinka Ayefele on stage, when Seyi walked up to him to do the same.
From the clip, the Governor had recognised the comedian, unfortunately, his security stopped Seyi from getting closer to him.

A year ago, Seyi wrote an open letter to blogger and former singer Tunde Ednut, noting that he had been tarnishing his name and inciting his followers against him. He revealed that he had initially laughed it off, but lately he had been reflecting. The comedian added that he believes time will reveal the truth, and warned Tunde not to try him.
In 2024, the comedian had reacted to accusations of being a cultist. Seyi Law stated that he hoped Nigerians would call it oppression should he arrest the tweep.
