Beauty Tukura gives update on Ilebaye

Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Beauty Tukura has given an update on her colleague, Ilebaye.

Hours ago, the Level Up housemate had cried out for help over an alleged domestic abuse. In a disturbing Instagram live video, she cried out to Nigerians to help her after a man was seen beating her. The reality star was assaulted so severely that her face became badly swollen.

In the video, Ilebaye said the doors were locked, preventing her from escaping, and stated that she wants to leave the house.

The video left many social media users panicking, and to make things worse, her friends say her phone is unreachable and that no one knows her whereabouts.

In a series of tweets, Beauty said Ilebaye is no longer in any harm’s way. She stated that the story isn’t one she can tell and appreciated the public.

Beauty said the reality star is fine and expressed belief that someday she will tell her story.

“It’s not my story to tell, but thanks, everyone. Ilebaye is fine, and she’ll tell her story in her time. Thanks, everyone.

She’s no longer in harm’s way. Thank God”.

Last year, actress, Regina Daniels, cried out over the alleged domestic violence she was experiencing in her marriage. In a viral video, the actress was seen in the midst of men as her brother defended her against thugs her husband allegedly sent to her.

Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted. The senator further alleged that Regina had engaged in violent behaviour at home, claiming she assaulted three domestic staff and destroyed property.

While giving Regina an advise, Yvonne Jegede said if domestic violence is violence, she should leave. The actress admonished her not to allow bitter and jobless internet trolls to bully her, as there is no excuse for domestic violence.
