Lateef Adedimeji announce the date triplet Thanksgiving

Nollywood couple Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe have released a statement following their triplets’ naming ceremony.

In a cute Instagram video of the couple with their triplets, Lateef announced their names as Rahman, Raheem, and Rakeeb.

He announced that in July, a big celebration and Thanksgiving party will be held for everyone to witness God’s goodness. He states that dates will be announced soon and expressed gratitude to the public.

“Yesterday, we officially named our 3 kings in an intimate circle of love

Rahman, Raheem, Rakeeb

JULY, we’re coming for you with the big celebration! The Thanksgiving party will be for everyone to witness God’s goodness! Dates will be announced soon

We are forever grateful to God and to everyone who came to celebrate with us”.

It is no longer news that on Friday the couple had announced the birth of their triplet boys. Lateef shared a video of Bimpe holding their ultrasound, saying that God had given him more than he had prayed for, as his wife is now a mother of three boys.

Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that the couple held a low-key naming ceremony at their residence in Lekki, Lagos. The couple kept things low-key and invited only close friends and family. Spotted at the ceremony were Jide Awobona, Ibrahim Yekini ‘Itele’ and his wife, and Omowunmi Dada.

The names of the triplets are Abdul Ramon Taiwo, Abdul Rahim Kehinde Adetona, and Abdulrokeeb Idowu Adebare.

At the ceremony, Lateef and Bimpe chose Omowunmi Dada as the godmother of their triplets and Ibrahim Yekini as the godfather. Omowunmi shared the news on her Instagram story, including clips from the naming.

Speaking out, Lateef wrote a heartfelt note to the public, noting how the love has been loud, beautiful and overwhelming. Lateef added that so much genuine love and prayers have surrounded them, and he appreciated them for celebrating his triplets.

Reflecting on his newfound life, he revealed that the past weeks had changed him forever. He said he has held greatness in his arms three times over, adding that watching his wife become a mother and himself become a father is a feeling that he can’t put into words.

Lateef had reacted to a strong warning from a man, who advised him to stop allowing people to carry his babies, as they aren’t museum items to be touched. The actor appreciated his words, letting him know that he had taken his advice.

Despite just welcoming triplets, the comic actor has returned to work. He was seen on a movie set as his colleagues teased him, noting his quick return to work and the financial responsibility on him with three kids to cater for.

The birth of their triplets is undoubtedly a good news as the couple have been bullied for not having a child.

Last year, Bimpe had shared the vile comment a troll left on her page, mocking her for being unable to give birth. The troll called her a barren and wombless woman, and added that only God can repair her womb because it’s not than reconstruction.
