President Bola Tinubu is set to receive the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag and Certificate of Return on Sunday as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
The presentation ceremony will hold in Abuja following the nationwide collation of results from the APC presidential primary election.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.
According to Onanuga, the APC Presidential Primary Elections Committee will formally present the Certificate of Return and the party flag to the President during the event.
Top party leaders, including APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), National Working Committee (NWC), National Assembly lawmakers, and other party stakeholders, are expected to attend the ceremony.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
