THE Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, on Saturday predicted a decisive victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Matawalle made the prediction while addressing thousands of supporters in his hometown, Maradun South Ward, Zamfara, during a rally to endorse President Tinubu as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the event drew a massive turnout of APC supporters backing President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
Matawalle expressed strong confidence in the electoral prospects of President Tinubu and APC candidates nationwide.
“President Bola Tinubu’s victory, and that of other APC candidates, will be decisive,” he said.
He described the large turnout as a reflection of the strength of democracy and growing public confidence in the APC-led administration under President Tinubu.
Matawalle noted that the people of Zamfara remain committed to the APC and fully supportive of the Tinubu administration.
He also expressed optimism that the party would record sweeping victories in all elective positions in the state and beyond during the forthcoming elections. (NAN)
