Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has come under fire again for shunning his daughter’s birthday.
Kemi Filani reported on April 10th that Danielle had turned a new age and her mother, May Edochie, had written a beautiful note to her, expressing pride in the woman she is becoming. May said her daughter carries so much light, kindness, and purpose, and she is endlessly proud of her.
Unlike May, Yul didn’t make any public posts about his daughter. The actor, however, shared a poster promoting his colleague, Lizzy Gold’s movie, which didn’t sit well with some of his followers.

Similarly, last year, the actor also shunned her birthday by staying offline, leaving his fans questioning him.
Recall that following his marriage to his colleague, his relationship with his children has turned sour.
Danielle had yanked off his name from her profile on social media. Danielle, who proudly used her father’s name, Danielle Yul Edochie, on her social media profiles had edited her name to be Danielle Diana Dubem.
Yul had also cut ties with her as he unfollowed her on Instagram, and had stopped commenting on her Instagram posts.
May’s lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, revealed that Yul doesn’t pay child support or his children’s school fees and that May takes care of their three children. He alleged that the actor told his daughter to meet her mother for her financial needs since she was making more money than him.
On her mother’s birthday two years ago, Danielle hyped her as the original and the first, before anyone else. Calling her the overall blessed and God’s favourite, she dared anyone to do it if it was that easy.
