Nollywood actress Fausat Balogun, better known as Madam Saje, has opened up on her love for partying.
In an interview with African List, she noted how people criticise her for partying too much. Fausat said she loves it, especially attending parties of younger actors.
Sharing a reason, she said it reminds her of her past, when she once invited people to an event and they didn’t show up.
“I also love attending people’s parties, especially those of younger actors. People talk about that a lot.
Because something similar happened to me before – when I invited people, many didn’t show up”.
Also in the interview, she recalled her early days of struggling, the challenges she faced and more. Fausat said she once stole food to survive and shot movies without making a dime. The veteran noted that there is no job without challenges; hence, people shouldn’t try to outrun their destiny and should wait for their time.
A while back, Fausat had wowed her fans with an epic throwback teenage photo of herself playing guitar as she gushed over her growth. She noted how the lady in the picture has grown to become the famous and talented Sajetiologa.
When the veteran bagged a huge endorsement deal, she couldn’t keep calm. She shared a video of her signing a deal, expressing gratitude to her creator for doing it again for her and giving her a mouthwatering deal.
Madam Saje, as she is fondly known as, opened up about some unknown truths about herself, revealing that she didn’t go beyond primary school education because of her acting career. She said this has limited her acting career and affected her inability to speak good English. It has also hindered her advancement, particularly in the English sector of the movie industry, however, she was consoled by the highly educated and amazing people God had used to bless her in the movie industry.
