Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi says the Gov’t implemented appropriate measures to cushion Kenyans from increased fuel prices.
Wandayi says the government reduced VAT on petrol, diesel and kerosene from 16% to 13% to cushion consumers from rising global oil prices and deployed about Sh6.2 billion from the Petroleum Development Levy Fund to stabilise pump prices.
