‎Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have neutralised several terrorists and destroyed their enclaves during operations in parts of Borno State.

‎The military said the operations, conducted under Desert Sanity V, targeted terrorist locations in the Timbuktu and Bulabulin forest areas.

‎In a statement by Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, troops cleared enclaves in Mar, Subdu, Yaro Lawanti and Yaro Shuwari in the Bulabulin axis.

‎He said 11 terrorists were killed during an engagement at Malam Shiri Village, while others fled with injuries.

‎Items recovered include rifles, machine guns, motorcycles and explosives materials.

‎In a separate operation along the Wajiroko–Sabongari corridor, troops also killed seven terrorists and recovered weapons including RPG tubes and communication equipment.

‎The statement said the operations were supported by the Air Component, which provided surveillance and carried out air strikes on identified targets.

‎Troops are currently pursuing fleeing terrorists to prevent regrouping.
