The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, on Sunday, pronounced God’s judgment on bandits and their sponsors, wreaking havoc around the country.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Oyedepo made the declaration while speaking on the theme “Covenant Day of Vengeance” at the church headquarters in Ota, Ogun state.
Oyedepo claimed that within the next seven days, divine punishment will come upon the people responsible for killings and kidnappings.
He also assured Nigerians that in the coming week, they will hear “testimonies of vengeance”.
He said, “I declare judgment on those who caused these tragedies and their supporters in the name of Jesus.
“Unless I am not sent, this will happen in the next seven days.”
Meanwhile, Oyedepo recently admitted that fraudsters are prevalent in the church and everywhere.
Oyedepo made this known while recounting an encounter with an alleged fraudster.
While delivering a sermon during the midweek service, Oyedepo said that a fraudster who impersonated and attempted to extort money from victims was later exposed.
Oyedepo stated that his images are being used for fraudulent activities and urged his members to walk in truth to avoid being trapped.
He said, “We had an experience some time back when someone was claiming to be me and that I was asking for something.
“My assistant called and the person said ‘can I speak to Bishop Oyedepo’? My assistant said yes, you can talk to him.
