Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina State, has congratulated Dr Muttaqha Rabe-Darma on his appointment as Minister of Housing and Urban Development, describing it as a strategic move toward accelerating national growth.
The governor stated this in a statement in Katsina on Friday, signed by Mr Ibrahim Kaula, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
Radda expressed strong confidence in Darma’s capacity to reposition Nigeria’s housing and urban development sector.
He noted that Darma’s track record of competence and dedication makes him well-suited for the role.
The governor further commended President Bola Tinubu for what he described as a purposeful drive toward national development through the selection of capable hands for key positions.
According to the governor, Darma’s emergence reflects a commitment to excellence and merit.
Radda added that the appointment would significantly contribute to ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and urban living standards across the country.
“We are proud to see one of our own elevated to this important national position. Rabe-Darma brings integrity and vision to the Ministry.
“I have no doubt he will serve this nation with distinction,” the governor said.
He wished the new minister a successful tenure, urging him to deploy his experience and leadership to deliver impactful reforms in the sector.
Radda also commended the immediate past minister, Ahmed Musa-Dangiwa for his dedication, and remarkable achievements in the ministry. (NAN)
