The Nigerian Air Force has published the names of candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test and have been shortlisted for the Selection Board Interview for recruitment into Basic Military Training Course 46/2025.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, who said successful candidates could access their names on the NAF’s official recruitment portal at nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng/updates/.
According to the statement, the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women will be held at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
The NAF warned that shortlisted candidates must report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedules as indicated on the portal, stressing that failure to do so would result in disqualification.
“Candidates who fail to report on their designated dates will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview,” the statement read.
The Air Force also cautioned applicants against making any payments at any stage of the recruitment process, emphasising that the entire exercise was free of charge.
The shortlist follows the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted in December 2025, which attracted over 20,000 applicants and was held across 15 designated centres nationwide, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.
The NAF said the exercise was designed to ensure inclusiveness and equal opportunity, and that recruitment remained guided by fairness, integrity, and strict adherence to merit-based standards.
“The Nigerian Air Force remains firmly committed to recruiting the best candidates by merit, as the quality of our personnel is fundamental to operational effectiveness and the successful execution of our constitutional mandate,” Ejodame said.
