‎The Prayer and Support for the Nigerian Armed Forces and Other Security Agencies (PSNAFSA) has condemned the killing of Brigadier General Oseni Braimah and other soldiers in an attack on a military base in Damboa, Borno State.

‎In a statement signed by its Convener, Mary Abayomi-Family, the group described the attack as “heinous and cowardly.”

‎It said, “This heinous and cowardly act is a stark indication of the grave dangers our servicemen and women confront daily in defence of Nigeria’s sovereignty.”

‎PSNAFSA expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

‎“We share in their grief and pray that Almighty God grants them the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss,” it said.

‎The group also paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, describing them as patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice.

‎It noted that although the military has recorded successes against insurgents, continued attacks show the need for renewed action.

‎“PSNAFSA calls for a resolute national will to end these unwarranted killings of military personnel… The time to act decisively is now,” the statement added.

‎The group urged the Federal Government to identify and prosecute sponsors of terrorism and block the flow of arms into the country.

‎It also called on Nigerians to support security agencies through vigilance and intelligence sharing.
