Nigerian singer and rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has praised Monday Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo State.

In videos making the rounds online, the rapper visited the State for a tour with the Governor, who showcased projects he has executed in the State.

While giving a speech, Abdulkareem said he wanted to see for himself whether the Governor is truly working and has been blown away by the Governor’s work.

He promised indigenes of the state that within the next year or two, they will see more of his achievements and urged those in the diaspora to come home and see what the governor is doing.

Eedris further said that when one isn’t on the ground, they wouldn’t know what is happening.

“I went to Edo State to move around and see for myself if the state is truly working. I must sincerely say Governor Monday Okpebholo has done a lot. In the next one or two years, we will see more of his achievements.

Most times, if you are not on the ground, you won’t know what is really happening. If you are from Edo State and living in the diaspora, you should come back and see what the governor is doing.”
