APC Releases Revised Timetable For 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections.

This is contained in the revised schedule of activities released on Monday and signed by the Party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

The revision includes changes to timelines for, among others, screening, appeals, and primary elections, as well as directives on the sale of forms and the Party’s bank accounts approved to receive all payments relating to the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

According to the revised schedule, the APC presidential primaries will take place on Saturday, 23rd May, 2026, the governorship primaries will hold on Thursday, 21st May, that of State Houses of Assembly on Wednesday, 20th May, the Senate on Monday, 18th May and that of the House of Representatives will hold on Friday, 15th May.

The APC added that female aspirants, youths and physically challenged persons are to pay for the expression of interest and 50% of the prescribed nomination fee for each position.

PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that the party retained the ₦100,000,000 for its presidential form and ₦50,000,000 for the governorship position.

Aspirants for Senate seats are to pay ₦20,000,000, House of Representatives ₦10,000,000 and State House of Assembly is pegged at ₦6,000,000.
