Toni Braxton is addressing her fans after abruptly ending a recent concert in Minneapolis due to an unexpected situation.
The Grammy winner was performing on March 22 during the New Edition Way Tour when she exited the stage before completing her set, leaving fans surprised as the show ended early.
Shortly after, Braxton addressed the moment in a message to fans. “My loves, I am so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show last night,” she wrote. “I had an unexpected personal emergency and had no choice but to step away.”
She continued, “You deserved my everything and I hate that I couldn’t give it to you. I feel your love from here. Thank you for understanding.”
No additional details about the situation have been shared.
Fans quickly responded online with support. “We love you Toni, take care of yourself,” one person wrote. Another added, “She gave us what she could and it was still beautiful.”
Braxton, known for songs like “Un-Break My Heart,” has previously been open about her health journey with Lupus and talked to PEOPLE about her expectations for the tour.
“I’ve been feeling OK, that’s been the anxiety, just making sure I’m ready,” she told People back in 2024. “My doctor said I’m ready to go. I got checked off, everything’s good, but there is a little anxiety performing and having that health scare. But the man upstairs said it’s going to be OK, so I know I’m going to be alright.”
