Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor is reflecting on her struggles in the third trimester.
Hours ago, Ruby and her filmmaker husband, Moc Madu, had welcomed their first child, a baby boy. Her husband shared the good news, revealing their son’s name, as Lotanna Haziel Madu.
Following the birth of her baby boy, Ruby revealed that third trimester is no one’s mate, as she endured sleepless nights, restless nights, swollen legs, and more.

Kemi Filani reported that the couple who married last year, on Sunday night, announced they are expecting their first child in a video of Ruby showing off her baby bump. The actress, in her caption, questioned which of God’s blessings she could deny.
Following the pregnancy announcement, the Asaba actress shared her husband’s priceless reaction upon learning she is pregnant. In the clip, her husband couldn’t believe his eyes as he radiated with happiness.
She had also shared her daughter’s reaction to finding out she is pregnant. In the clip, the preteen broke down in tears as she expressed excitement at finally having a sibling.
A day back, Ruby had shared a beautiful video from her gender reveal party. In the clip, the couple were captured wearing white as they stood in anticipation for the baby’s gender reveal. Ruby and her husband, however, didn’t reveal the gender of their unborn child, but from the husband’s reaction, it seems they’re expecting a boy.
Ahead of her delivery, the comic actress had shared a video of her reaching out to newly delivered mothers before going to the labour room. In the clip, Ruby visited Asaba Specialist Hospital in Asaba, where she distributed Pampers and wipes.
Recall that in January, 2025, Ruby shocked the world when she announced her engagement to her filmmaker husband.
