Media Take Out has some absolutely SHOCKING and, quite frankly, DISTURBING news to report this morning. What started as a little bit of old-school hip-hop banter has turned into a potentially dangerous—and very illegal—situation involving Ray J and the “It Is What It Is” crew.
It all started when Cam’ron and Mase brought former Bad Boy rapper turned politician Shyne onto their hit podcast. Now, we all know Shyne and Mase have history, but the conversation took a turn into the “locker room” territory that had fans’ jaws on the floor.

The Disrespect: Shyne & Mase Talk Brandy!
During the episode, the trio started reminiscing about the 90s, and the topic of R&B princess Brandy came up. Instead of keeping it classy, the men started making some very bold—and very “street”—claims.
Both Shyne and Mase suggested that back in the day, they were both romantically involved with Brandy… at the same time. The jokes were flying, the laughter was loud, and the disrespect toward Ray J’s sister was at an all-time high.
While Cam’ron mostly sat back and laughed, the imagery of two men discussing a legendary Black woman in that manner didn’t sit right with many—especially not her brother.
Ray J Goes On A LIVESTREAM TEAR!
Ray J is known for being a bit “unhinged” on social media, but what he did last night was on a whole different level. Ray hopped on a Livestream, and he wasn’t just mad—he was looking for BLOOD.
At first, he started off with the standard tough talk. He looked into the camera and told his fans that the next time he sees Mase, Shyne, or Cam’ron in public, he’s going to “smack them dead in the face” for talking about his sister.
But then, things took a dark and very twisted turn.
“You think it’s a joke? You think it’s funny?” Ray J yelled into the phone while pacing around. “I got a team of ‘booty goons’ ready to go. We’re gonna catch y’all. We’re gonna catch Mase, we’re gonna catch Cam…”
Ray J then went into a GRAPHIC rant, threatening to have his crew sexually assault the podcasters as “punishment” for their comments about Brandy. He repeated the threats multiple times, using explicit language that has left even his most loyal fans wondering if he’s finally gone too far.
Is Ray J In Legal Trouble?
This isn’t just “internet beef” anymore. Threatening sexual assault on a public platform is a serious crime, and we’re hearing that lawyers for the podcasters might already be looking into filing a police report.
While we understand Ray J wanting to protect his sister’s honor, the “booty goon” talk has turned a legitimate grievance into a possible felony. People are calling for Ray to get help, while others are wondering if Cam and Mase are going to double down on their next episode.
