An ongoing investigation connected to Jeffrey Epstein is reportedly causing unease among people who once worked closely with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew.
According to reports, investigators are examining documents released through the U.S. Department of Justice as part of the broader inquiry into Epstein’s activities. As the investigation continues, authorities are said to be exploring whether individuals who worked near the Duke of York had any knowledge of the circumstances surrounding his past association with the late financier.
Prince Andrew, 66, has repeatedly denied wrongdoing related to Epstein, who died in 2019 while facing federal sex trafficking charges.
Sources familiar with the investigation claim the inquiry has already reached former members of Andrew’s security team. One insider said detectives have spoken with a senior police officer who once oversaw security operations tied to Buckingham Palace.
“The discussion was preliminary, but investigators wanted to understand what background knowledge might exist among people who held senior responsibility for royal security,” the source said.
RadarOnline spoke to some individuals who previously worked in Andrew’s orbit. Another source claimed the possibility of interviews has made several former staff members uneasy.
“That conversation alone has people extremely nervous,” the insider said. “No one wants to be dragged into questions about what they might have seen or known.”
