Kevin Spacey has reached a settlement with three men who accused him of sexual assault, bringing an end to a civil case that had been set for trial in London.
A judge recently ordered the proceedings paused following an agreement between the parties.
“By consent, it is ordered that all further proceedings against the defendant in these actions be stayed,” the ruling stated, noting that the terms of the settlement remain confidential.
The claims stem from alleged incidents between 2003 and 2013.
According to reports, one accuser said he met Spacey through a theater workshop, while another alleged inappropriate contact at a party. Spacey has consistently denied the allegations.
The actor has faced multiple legal challenges in recent years. In 2023, he was found not guilty of sexual assault charges in a U.K. criminal trial. He was also previously cleared in a U.S. civil case brought by Anthony Rapp.
Since the allegations first surfaced in 2017, Spacey’s career has seen major shifts, including his exit from projects such as House of Cards. In recent years, he has returned to acting with roles in independent films and international productions.
