Cam’ron is teasing a heated moment with J. Cole following their ongoing legal dispute.

In a preview clip from an upcoming episode of Talk With Flee, Cam’ron appears mid-conversation when Cole unexpectedly walks onto the set. The mood quickly shifts as Cole addresses the situation directly.

“I’m just saying, a lawsuit, bro? Lawyers?” Cole says in the clip.

Cam’ron responds after a pause, telling him, “You know it wasn’t like that.”

The moment comes months after Cam’ron filed a lawsuit tied to their collaboration “Ready ‘24.” In court documents, he claimed the track was recorded in 2022 and alleged that Cole did not follow through on verbal commitments, including appearing on his podcast and contributing to a new song.

“[Cole told me], ‘Yo, I can’t do it right now because I don’t feel like talking about that.’ I said, ‘Look, I won’t even bring that up.’ He says, ‘Nah, I can’t do no interview and not talk about it,”” Cam explained at the time.

Cam’ron has also said he was not properly compensated for his verse and is seeking financial accounting and recognition as a co-author.

“Being a man is keeping your word,” he said previously, discussing the dispute.

Cole’s legal team has denied the claims, stating that Cam’ron participated in the song “voluntarily and without condition.” They also disputed that any firm agreement was made regarding future collaborations or appearances.

“[Cam’ron] encouraged and blessed [J. Cole’s] use of his performance, as it was to his career benefit,” Cole’s lawyer, Christine Lepera, wrote in the court filing.

The full exchange between the two artists is expected to air March 24.
