In his new viral interview with Cam’ron, J. Cole addressed a longtime rumor involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, confirming that a reported altercation between the two did take place.

During a recent podcast interview on Talk With Flee, Cole acknowledged the incident but made it clear he will not share details at this time. “Like me and Puff like there’s no [beef],” he said. “We hadn’t had no problem for years even after that.”

He added that the situation was resolved quickly. “It was cleaned up quick and we was in a good spot,” he said.

Cole revealed that he and his team had previously recorded a conversation explaining what happened but chose not to release it. “We was going to put it out thinking like, ‘Yo, it’s cool,’” he said. “And then all the s–t happened… and I was just like, ‘Nah.’”

“It felt like damn near like kicking a man when he’s down,” Cole said, adding, “It would have gave the news and the world more ammo just [to] destroy this dude.”

Despite confirming the incident, Cole made it clear there is no ongoing conflict between them. “We was in a good spot,” he reiterated.

Cole first confirmed the brawl back in 2021, on his album track, “Let Go My Hand.”

“Couple wins, couple losses/Some broken up too quick to call it,” Cole raps. “My last scrap was with Puff Daddy, who would’ve thought it?/I bought that n—a album in seventh grade and played it so much/You would’ve thought my favorite rapper was Puff/Back then I ain’t know s–t, now I know too much.”
