The former partner of influencer Myron Gaines is sharing her side of the story after appearing in Louis Theroux’s recent documentary, which has sparked widespread online discussion.
Gaines, also known as Amrou Fudl, was featured in the project alongside Angie, who was his girlfriend at the time. During filming, the two spoke about their relationship, including Gaines’ views on having multiple partners.
Now, Angie says she did not expect to be part of the production. “I never wanted to be part of any documentary whatsoever,” she said in a video posted to TikTok. “I was never told or asked to be in a documentary until the moment of.”
She added that signing paperwork without fully reviewing it led to her appearance. “I was stupid enough to not read a contract before signing it,” she said.
According to Angie, she later tried to have her participation removed. “I begged the producers… to take me out of the doc,” she explained.
She surprisingly then thanked the British journalist for the project.
“I really think in a weird way I have to thank Louis Theroux because somehow his questions kinda like made me question myself and the future of everything. And that is something that I truly hadn’t done before, not, like, deeply like I did after that. And part of it is what’s he’s doing. So there is that,” said Angie.
Since filming ended, the couple has split, and Angie says she has moved forward. “This is my life… I couldn’t be more grateful,” she said.
She also shared that she is now in a new relationship. “I met this amazing man who cares for me… I can finally say I see a future with somebody.”
Myron telling Angie to go clean something in the least confident way possible while telling her sorry and handing her a poodle with a pink collar is maybe the most funniest part of the whole interaction.
