Farrah Franklin is tired of all the rumors and is setting the record straight after Terrence Howard shared a story about a past connection to Destiny’s Child.
During a recent podcast appearance, Howard claimed he once had an opportunity to date Beyoncé but instead spent time with another member of the group, describing her as “the girl with the blue eyes.”
Franklin, who was briefly part of the iconic group in the early 2000s, responded with her own perspective.
“I’m Farrah with the natural green eyes, not blue,” she said in a statement via PEOPLE. “Terrence and I had a few friendly outings, nothing romantic.”
She added that their interactions were casual and they were around each other for work purposes, not for any romantic reasons. “We went to the studio a few times, and I will say that Terrence is super talented.”
Franklin declined to address other parts of Howard’s story. “I won’t speculate on anything else that was said,” she shared. “I wish everyone well and remain focused on my own journey.”
The singer also revealed she has been working on new music and film projects, teasing what’s next in her career.
“I’m looking forward to sharing it with the world,” she said.
Howard has not publicly responded to Franklin’s clarification.
