Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, is drawing intense backlash after a shocking livestream moment in the Florida Everglades.
In footage that quickly spread online, captured by TMZ, Peters is seen on an airboat approaching a lifeless alligator before pulling out a handgun and firing repeatedly at the animal.
As bullets hit the water around it, he can be heard saying, “Hey, I think it’s dead,” after unloading multiple shots.
Many viewers are questioning why he would fire at an already motionless animal during a broadcast meant for entertainment. The video is part of Peters’ ongoing 30-day livestream challenge, where he has been documenting his daily activities for viewers.
The controversy adds to a growing list of issues surrounding the streamer. Peters has recently had run-ins with law enforcement tied to past stunts and online behavior. He also made headlines following a tense appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where his views were challenged and he clapped back by disrespecting Morgan’s wife.
The streamer believed Morgan was trying to set him up.
“I think so, I think you deliberately try to make people look bad,” he told the seasoned journalist. “Usually people on sort of the fringe of the right-wing. But like I said before, you sort of haven’t automatically aligned me there, maybe we’ll be able to have a good interview that’s not just you looking for gotchu clips.”
Officials have not yet commented on the Everglades incident, and it remains unclear if any investigation is underway.
