Blueface is licking his wounds this week after facing a humiliating defeat in his return to the boxing ring.
The rapper competed at a boxing event hosted by streamer Adin Ross during the “Brand Risk” showcase in Miami. The match marked Blueface’s first fight since 2023, when he earned a knockout victory against influencer boxer Ed Matthews.
Many expected the bout to serve as a warm-up ahead of Blueface’s scheduled May 2 fight with former NBA champion Nick Young. Instead, his opponent, a lesser-known fighter named Chibu, delivered a performance that shocked diehard Blueface fans.
Blueface appeared noticeably heavier than in previous fights, reportedly after gaining weight while serving time in prison for a probation violation connected to a 2021 battery case. Even with the change in physique, he showed glimpses of the boxing skills that helped him gain credibility as an influencer boxer.
In the second round, Chibu forced Blueface toward the ropes and unleashed a series of punches to the body. The exchange pushed the rapper through the ropes and out of the ring, drawing loud reactions from the crowd.
Blueface returned to continue the fight, but Chibu remained aggressive throughout the final round. Judges ultimately scored the match in Chibu’s favor across all three cards, handing the underdog one of the biggest wins of his career.
