Claressa Shields could soon have yet another online feud added to her resume… Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold.
After Blueface’s loss at a Brand Risk Promotions boxing event hosted by Adin Ross, Shields weighed in with her perspective on celebrity boxing, suggesting that public figures should spend more time training before stepping into the ring.
“I think these public figures need at least six months in the gym before they start fighting in real fights,” Shields said. She also shared her take on the outcome, adding, “I watched the fight and I thought big boy won too.”
Karlissa responded on social media, defending her son and taking issue with Shields’ remarks.
“Y’all tell Claressa to tell her man to fight Blueface or stop talking,” she wrote in a post that quickly circulated online.
The exchange comes after a recent match in which Blueface faced streamer Chibu. The fight ended in a decision that sparked debate among viewers over who was truly the victor.
Blueface also addressed the outcome himself, suggesting he disagreed with the scoring but says that he was paid at least $300,000 for his troubles.
He recently publicly denounced his son, Chrisean Jr., again online after learning that his girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira, is expecting his child.
