The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the official schedule of activities for the conduct of the party’s 2026 nationwide congresses and national convention.
The ADC National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, in a statement issued on Saturday, March 14, 2026, said the process forms part of the party’s constitutional responsibility to renew its leadership structures across all levels of the organisation, beginning from the polling units and wards through the local government and state levels, culminating in the national convention.
LP rules out boycott of 2027 elections
The party’s polling unit and ward congresses is slated for April 7, while the local government area congresses and election of one-man delegates to the national convention will hold on April 9, 2026.
The ADC announced that its senatorial and state congresses will hold on April 11, while the national convention is slated for Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
