50 Cent is in the headlines again after claiming longtime rival James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was stabbed in prison.
The rapper shared the allegation on Instagram Sunday, writing, “World put Jimmy on a gurney [knife emoji] LOL [laughing emoji] 3 months ago in Hazelton, old Rat a–… lying now he in Missouri. HE KNOW I KNOW WHATS UP.”
Rosemond quickly denied the claim during a phone call with former drug kingpin Kenneth McGriff, which soon spread online.
“Liars will always be liars,” Rosemond said. “People who always listen to rappers, that’s what they’re going to get. They’re going to get a bunch of lies. Especially lying-a– rappers.”
He insisted he has not been attacked behind bars. “At the end of the day, I’m well and fine, brother. False rumor all the way,” Rosemond said. “I’ve been down 15 years and nothing has happened to me.”
Rosemond also claimed this is not the first time 50 Cent has spread a story about him being stabbed in prison. “I ain’t never been to no PC, ran up, ain’t nothing happened to me. I ain’t never even had arguments since I been down,” he said.
The two men have been beefing for years even though Rosemond is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted in connection with a cocaine trafficking operation and the 2009 murder of Lowell “Lodi” Fletcher, an associate of 50 Cent’s G-Unit crew.
Despite 50 Cent’s claim that Rosemond is incarcerated in Missouri, records reportedly show he remains at a federal prison in Louisiana.
