Newly released images connected to the Justice Department’s Jeffrey Epstein investigation have thrown Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, back in the spotlight.
The latest batch of files includes three photos showing the former royal, on his hands and knees, over an unidentified woman lying on the floor. The woman is fully clothed in all of the images, and her face is obscured. In two photos, Andrew appears crouched with one hand resting on her stomach. A third shows him looking toward the camera while kneeling beside her.
The images were released Jan. 30 as part of a larger disclosure effort tied to Epstein’s estate. In a previous release, congressional investigators wrote, “These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files!”
Earlier photo drops also included a screenshot of a 2011 email from Epstein to someone identified as “The Duke,” believed to be Andrew. In that message, Epstein wrote, “These stories are complete and utter fantasy.”
Andrew stepped back from royal duties in 2019 following his BBC interview about Epstein and formally lost his titles last year. He has repeatedly denied wrongdoing. In 2022, he reached a settlement with accuser Virginia Giuffre without admitting fault.
