NLE Choppa is attempting to cool tensions with Blueface after he involved the Compton rapper’s two-year-old son in their beef.
The Memphis rapper shared a public apology on his Instagram Story, addressing remarks he previously made about Blueface’s son and acknowledging that the situation went too far.
“Last time we had words he apologized for bringing my mom in stuff, I owe you the same respect,” Choppa wrote. “I apologize for what I said about your son. From the heart.”
Choppa added that he had already reached out privately but felt it was important to say it publicly as well. “I texted this message in private but wanted to do the same publicly,” he explained, as fans dragged hm across social media for his actions.
The apology follows days of online back-and-forth between Choppa and Blueface, whose rivalry dates back several years and has included diss tracks, insults, and repeated challenges to fight. Things escalated recently when Choppa made comments during a livestream that referenced their toddlers, prompting swift backlash from fans.
Many viewers criticized the exchange, saying children should never be used as ammunition in adult conflicts. Choppa appears to agree.

“Me and blue handling that,” he wrote, hinting that any remaining issues will be dealt with directly and away from the public eye.
On social media, fans slammed NLE Choppa for targeting a child and accused him of only apologizing because of the backlash.
