Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show, Sherri, is preparing to sign off after four seasons on the air.
Producer Debmar Mercury confirmed the news on Monday, noting that the current season will finish production and air its final episodes this fall. The announcement comes just days after The Kelly Clarkson Show also revealed plans to conclude in 2026.
In a joint statement, Debmar Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said the decision reflects changes in the daytime TV world rather than the show’s performance.
“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” they said. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”
Shepherd previously shared how influential the program has been to her.
“I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes daily,” she said when the show was renewed last year. “I work so hard to bring escapism to viewers’ lives through joy, laughter and inspiration.”
The series launched in 2022 and took over the time slot once held by The Wendy Williams Show. Before then, she was a former cohost of daytime talk show, “The View”.
