Megyn Kelly escalated her criticism of Bad Bunny during a heated appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where she voiced strong objections to his Spanish-language Super Bowl halftime performance.
Kelly, who had previously said she planned to change the channel during the show, repeated her stance while speaking with host Piers Morgan.
“To get up there and perform the whole show in Spanish is a middle finger to the rest of America,” she said, adding, “This is supposed to be a unifying event for the country.”
As the discussion continued, Kelly grew visibly more animated, arguing that the halftime show should reflect what she described as traditional American culture.
“We don’t need a Spanish-speaking non-English performer,” she said. She also linked her criticism to Bad Bunny’s political views, calling his selection offensive because of his public opposition to U.S. immigration policies.

When Morgan noted that the United States does not have a federally established official language, Kelly pushed back sharply, warning against cultural erosion.
“We’re not allowing that here,” she said. “The Super Bowl needs to stay quintessentially American.”
Bad Bunny’s performance, which paid tribute to Puerto Rico and Latin culture, marked the first Super Bowl halftime show delivered entirely in Spanish. Kelly did not comment on the music itself, focusing instead on language and politics.
Neither the NFL nor Bad Bunny responded to Kelly’s remarks.
