Nicki Minaj declared herself President Trump’s biggest supporter during a public appearance in Washington, D.C., saying criticism has only strengthened her loyalty.
“I will say that I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan,” the “Starships” rapper told the crowd Wednesday at a Treasury Department-hosted summit launching Trump Accounts for newborn babies. “And that’s not going to change.”
Minaj, 43, added, “The hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more, and it’s going to motivate all of us to support him more.” She continued, “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him and the smear campaigns. It’s not going to work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him.”

The singer, born Onika Maraj, once said in 2020 that she would not “jump on the Donald Trump bandwagon,” but has since become more outspoken in her support. Last month, she appeared at Turning Point USA’s annual conference, where she said, “I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president.”
Trump returned the praise, calling Minaj the “greatest and most successful female rapper in history” and thanking her for donating “hundreds of thousands of dollars” to the program. “I just think she’s great,” he said, later joking about growing out his nails like hers.
After her speech, Minaj showed off her Trump Gold Card visa, which applicants can receive after paying a nonrefundable $15,000 Department of Human Services (DHS) processing fee plus make a $1 million donation.
