Kim Kardashian is sharing a surprising story from her teenage years that she says changed the course of her night and possibly much more.
During an appearance on Khloé Kardashian’s podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, Kim revealed an unexpected encounter with Wesley Snipes when she was about 17 and visiting New York City with friends. “I just want to start it off with: Wesley Snipes saved my life,” Kim said. “And he doesn’t know this story. He has no clue who I was.”
Kim recalled going from a popular club to a house party, only to lose track of everyone by early morning. “It’s like 5 a.m., we’re at this house party, no one to be found,” she said. “I cannot find anyone. Don’t have my money. All I have is this address.”
With no phone and no cash, Kim walked outside unsure what to do next. That’s when she crossed paths with Snipes. “I was like, ‘Hi, sir. I’m so sorry… but do you think you can give me a ride home?’” she remembered.
Snipes agreed but insisted they stop for breakfast first. Kim said he wasn’t intimidating, but firm. “He started schooling me like he’s my father,” she recalled. “He told me, ‘You’re too young to be out this late. You shouldn’t be at clubs. I’m going to take you home.’”
Kim says she never saw him again but still hopes to thank him someday. “Shout out to Wesley Snipes,” she said. “You are a lifesaver.”
