The Mark Marlaki Foundation (MMOF) has continued its humanitarian activities in Nigeria, as the foundation, on Tuesday August 27, 2024, as part of activities to celebrate its President, Chief Augustine Ajayi’s 55th birthday, gave out food and non food items worth hundreds of thousands to the less privileged in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.
The CEO of the Foundation, Her, Majesty, Florence Okonkwo in her statement, said the foundation is out to give hope to the hopeless in the society.
Represented by the Secretary of the Foundation, Queen Mariah Timothy Jiggin, Queen Florence Okonkwo said that the foundation in conjunction with Elegantflix Magazine has been giving hope to the less privileged in the society.
According to her, “today’s event is to celebrate our president on his 55th birthday celebration. The president, Austin Ajayi who has worked so much for the upliftment of our organization and he has also helped the down trodden in our society.
” Today’s event reminds us that there are a lot of people who due to no fault of theirs, are faced with a lot of challenges in our society.
“We hope to continue to bring hope to the hopeless and also hope the well to do in our society will also join hands to help in bring joy to the faces of the less privileged.
“As a group, we have given hope in various area across the country, we have given scholarship to indigent students in our society,” she said.
Items donated to the orphanage homes includes cartons of noodles,, cartons of spaghetti, cartons of macaroni and detergents.
Receiving, the items, the Matron of the orphanage home, Madam Hajara Adamu thanked the the leadership of MMO Foundation for the gifts, for looking their way.
She promised to judiciously distribute the gifts.
