All leaders and members of Labour Party (LP) in Kaduna State, have been called upon to unite in support of the national caretaker committee chairman of the party, Senator Esther Nenadi Usman.
Addressing newsmen in Kaduna on Monday on behalf of 14 chairman of the party from the state, Abraham Yerima, noted, “With a proven track record of hard work, unwavering commitment, integrity, selfless service, and extensive political experience, we have full confidence that Sen. Nenadi Usman will leverage her skills and expertise to reposition the Labour Party. We anticipate her leadership in organizing inclusive and expansive congresses at all levels – from the ward, local government, state, to the national convention.”
The chairmen of the party from the 15 local government areas are Zaphaniah Yohanna Kagarko LG, Emmanuel Dikko, from Kachia LG, Hosea Jonathan, from Kaura LG, Abdulahi Mohammed, from Kauru LG, Polycarp Keffi, from Jama’a LG, Samuel Leo, from Jaba LG, Gambo Idris, from Sanga LG and Anthonia Sheyin, from Zango Kataf LG.
Others are Aliyu Yarba, from Kajuru,
Shamsudeen Waziri, from Kaduna North LG, Aminu Male, from Kaduna South LG, Mohamed Suleiman, from Igabi LG, Yerima Ahmed Abraham, from Chikun LG, Sani Nuhu, from Ikara LG and Suleiman Muktari of Kubau LG.
They said that the proudly declared their steadfast support for her appointment, their unwavering loyalty to the Labour Party, and their complete dedication to advancing the party’s mission across all local government areas in Kaduna State.
The chairmen thanked the outgoing National chairman, national and state executive for their leadership during the 2023 elections and extended their gratitude to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, Mr. Peter Obi, and all party leaders and stakeholders who converged in Umuahia to rescue their party from crisis by appointing a national caretaker committee to pilot the affairs of the party.
